Zac Efron to Star in Linklater Film
Zac Efron is looking all cute and brooding here for his photoshoot for Details and is taking on some grown roles, set to work with director Richard Linklater for his upcoming film, “Me and Orson Welles.” The movie’s set in 1937, so we’ll get to see Zac playing dress-up for another period piece. I do love this kid in costume.
The plot is that Efron’s character, a high school student, happens to meet Orson Welles, who then casts him in a small role in “Julius Caeser,” which is played in Welles’ Mercury Theatre. Well, I think he’s adorable and not just because he looks like a fresh-faced, well-behaved Jared Leto from days gone by. OK, well maybe that is why.
