Willow Smith Performs ‘Whip My Hair,’ Slowly Becomes National Treasure

November 2nd, 2010 // 2 Comments

I truly believe that Willow Smith will soon have her name preceded with ‘national treasure’ because she truly is. She’s on Ellen today and sings her hit song “Whip My Hair” and a brief snippet of Rihanna‘s “Only Girl” and later explains to the talk show host that the meaning of the song is basically a ‘I’m gonna be me’ anthem.

Watch her performance and interview after the jump! Watch out Ri-ri, Willow is coming for you!

I can remember when LeAnne Rimes was considered a national treasure. Willow is too young. She will either become a LeAnne Rimes, desperately seeking attention or a Michael Jackson, just desperate.
