Drama on the set of a telenovela!
The cast of La Tempestad (The Storm) William Levy, Ivan Sanchez, Ximena Navarrete and Cesar Evora were spotted promoting the new telenovela at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles, California yesterday (July 23, 2013).
Televisa fined the Cuban actor 1.5 million Mexican pesos for leaving set while filming the series. The studio said that Levy lacked professionalism and decided the fine would have to be a considerable amount so he would never do it again.
Levy later responded to the fine and accused Televisa of having no consideration for their actors. He said that Televisa never allowed their actors time off even though they worked 15 to 20 hours a day. He added that for him family was most important and that he had not seen them in four months. Levy also stated that he had promised to spend time with them but given his busy schedule he was unable to. However he promised to bring them to the studio to see them.
Mariana Seoane defended Levyafter various rumors stated that the Cuban actor had a bad attitude on the set of La Tempestad.
Levy’s co-star told the press that he was a great worker and that he was wonderful to work with. She also said that he was not a diva, and revealed that the day after Levy stormed off set, the Cuban actor was in a good mood. She said, “I think it was because they did not allow his family into the studio. I can understand why he got upset. The important thing is that everything was fixed, we are filming the series and that he has an incredible attitude.”
We hope that William has set things right with the producers, because who wants to see a frown on his handsome face. Speaking of his handsome face, make sure to check it out, as well as the rest of his hot bod, by launching the gallery.
