Today in London, Prince Harry and Prince William took part in BGC’s Global Charity Day, put on annually to raise money in memory of employees who died during the September 11th, 2001 attacks in New York City.

To date, the event has raised $89 million and 100% of the day’s revenue is donated to several different charities

William and Harry raised money for their charities, SkillForce and WellChild, and things got competitive on the trading floor as both boys called up clients to broker deals.

Are you feeling like making some money for charity today?” Harry asked one client over the phone.  ”Good. Whatever you’re thinking you can double it.”

After the charity, the princes attended the funeral of Hugh van Cutsem, who passed away at 72 last week.  Harry and William grew up with his four sons, and van Cutsem’s granddaughter, Grace was the grumpy bridesmaid at Will and Kate’s wedding 2011 wedding.
