Why Was Johnny Depp Was On Michelle Pfeiffer’s Bucket List? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

I’m very excited to see Dark Shadows (out this Friday) and I love seeing Johnny Depp out doing promotions.  He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this past Tuesday (May 8th), and later that day he signed autographs outside Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Hollywood.

Depp was joined by co-stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Chloe Grace Moretz on Ellen, who was curious to know how the quirky star got into character for his eccentric roles.  “Certain ingredients you add to these characters like Willy Wonka, for example. I imagined what George Bush would be like incredibly stoned.  And, thus was born my version of Willy Wonka,” Depp explained behind his sunglasses.

Pfeiffer has apparently always wanted to work with Depp.  “I had been talking about that because he has been on my bucket list but at one point I was leaving out to “work with” part and um… I realized that might not sound so good…” Pfieffer explained, to which Depp started fanning himself.  “It’s getting warm…” he said.

DeGeneres noticed that Depp was the only one of the three who didn’t dance when they came out on stage (most guests on her show boogy to their intro music).  “I fear it more than anything in the world,” Depp said about dancing.

“Have you never danced in your life?  DeGeneres asked.
“Ever,” the mysterious man answered.
“That’s just sad.”
“Well,” Depp tried to explain.  “Doing a film when it’s choreographed and you’re a character. It’s all right but in life I’d rather swallow a bag of hair….”
“I got some hair right here…”
