Not nudity, bless his heart.
True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard talked recently with a UK website and shared “I don’t have any problems with getting naked.” His bigger battle has been with fame. The HBO vamp has talked a bit about his discomfort with the attention that came with acting, and how it led to his seven year departure from the occupation. In this interview he addressed how scary it was for him.
“I had lots of TV roles when I was a kid, but the fame was scary and I hated people staring at me on the street. When I was 13 I decided I didn’t want to do it anymore.” Thankfully for us, he gave it another go when he was 20 and and “getting drunk and into trouble.” He tried to take a look at his life and decide what to do with it, and thought he would give acting one last shot. Now his fame doesn’t bother him at all.
“Actually, I am flattered by the attention,” admits the. “People come up and want autographs and take pictures, but I have no crazy stalkers after me.”
Accept for the paps who seem to know where you eat your meals. Here’s the single Swede laughing and enjoying lunch with three friends; either showing his new-found comfort with fame or unaware of the shutterbug at first.
