Wentworth Miller Talks “Coming Out” To ‘Details’ Magazine, Will Be Joining The CW’s ‘The Flash’

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller is getting candid with Details Magazine about everything from struggling with depression, returning to acting, and coming out as gay last year.

Wentworth has been flying under the radar recently.  Im excited to see the sexy actor make his return on-screen.  He’ll be starring in The Loft later this year, but what he failed to mention was that he has signed on for a guest role in The CW’s, The Flash.

After Prison Break ended Wentworth took a break from acting to write screenplays.  He told the magazine he “needed a change” and said he put on 45 pounds during his hiatus.  Some how I find this hard to believe.  He probably still looked hot.

Wentworth, who’s struggled with depression for most of his life is a part of the ManKind Project, an organization that provides a “safe sounding board” for men.  He came out last year and revealed that it made him feel “more fully expressed.”

Later this year he’ll be back in front of the camera in The Loft.  The thriller follows a group of men who find a body inside a secret apartment they keep for their mistresses.  Sounds scandalous.

Wentworth’s next project might not be as “risqué”  but for comic book fans it will be pretty exciting.  According to The Hollywood Reporter he has signed on for a guest role on The Flash.  The popular DC comic centers on Central City assistant police forensic investigator, Barry Allen, who gets transformed into the fastest man alive by a freak accident.

I’ve never read the comics but if Wentworth’s in it I’ll probably watch.  Some other familiar faces who will be appearing on the show are Grant Gustin, who will play the lead role of The Flash, and Robbie Amell as half of Firestorm.  Hmm sounds like a show of hot guys so I will definitely be watching.
