While I’m not pleased with her behavior on Bethenny Ever After, I am totally in love with the Torn by Ronny Kobo Tara color block bandage dress Bethenny Frankel wore to promote her new book, Skinnydipping at Barnes & Noble last night (May 1st) in Manhattan.
I am a sucker for bold colors, and this dress fit her tiny little body to perfection. The navy Chanel bag and patent leather pumps tied the outfit together all too well.
“I felt that after eight seasons of reality TV and three books on how to get what you want out of life, an imaginative adventure about a great female character would be a great palate cleanser,” Frankel told Entertainment Weekly about her first fiction novel. ”The title couldn’t be more perfect. It is sexy, it is about dipping into so many arenas and adventure and it is a nod to the Skinnygirl empire.”
So is the book a veiled tale of Frankel’s own life? ”I would say there are a lot of similarities between Faith and myself and characters in my life have influenced characters in this book,” the budding mogul explained. ”That said, this is a never-before-told adventure that everyone will love embarking on.”
What’s next for Frankel? ”I have a daytime television show this summer on Fox in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Philadelphia, L.A., Dallas, and New York. I can’t wait to start the conversation with my fans. This will be a no holds barred anything goes experience.
Do you think Frankel wears it well?
