Welcome to the Cougar Den where we talk hormone supplements, jello shooters and the Jonas Brothers.
First of all, I hate the word “cougar”. If a 50 year old man fell for a 26 year old woman, no one would name-call or even bat an eye. So why do we have a name for older women who like younger men? Once again, double standard. But what I dislike even more than the name “cougar” is how these women are portrayed. They look like a bunch of desperate, predatory vultures. Sort of makes them look like a big joke. I don’t see anything wrong with older women liking younger men as long as they do it with class and genuine love or adoration (ie: Demi & Ashton).
@T-bone. I agree!!
There is a name for the male variant, They’re called a “Trout”. at least woman don’t have the connotation of limpness (or female equivalent) with their name.
