Vanessa Hudgens Has Nothing To Talk About But Her Hair

July 21st, 2011 // 7 Comments

Yes, Vanessa Hudgens, we get it. You cut your hair. Fantastic. Good for you. It looks horrible. There. I said it. It looks horrid. I mean really. Vanessa stopped by Access Hollywood and the real point of discussion was her new short do. “Oh man, it’s really intense. I’m still getting used to it,” she said. “Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we’re going to let that go. There’s nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I’m only 22!”

Vanessa chopped off her long locks for her new flick Gimme Shelter. You know the one I’m talking about, right? The one where she looks like a little homeless boy. I guess her character doesn’t really care what she looks like, and apparently neither does Vanessa. In fact, she was the one who first started actually chopping of her hair. She and her director grabbed some scissors and started cutting. No! That’s not what you do! You go to a proper hair syltist who will try and make you look fantastic, like Emma Watson!

At least she’s good at putting on a happy facade. She looks like she’s bounding with excitement in the gallery photos. But let’s be honest, you know she still hates it. What do you say about the hair? Love it? Hate it? Wish you were Emma Watson? Let us know in the comments.

The writers of this Article are the most self-obsessed, girl hating people to walk this planet.
She’s an actress playing a homeless girl, is she supposed to look like a pampered poodle? no.
I think it shows great confidence to play a role where you dont look stereotypically ‘cute’ and ‘sexy’ I applaud her.
I expect to see a lot from this actress in the future.

I agree with Laura. She obviously did this for a movie role as a homeless person meaning she is not supposed to look glamorous. If she had a perfectly cut hairstyle it wouldn’t look right for her character. Besides, for being done by her and her director it really doesn’t look that bad at all. She’s a gorgeous girl and i think this writer is just trying a little too hard to be catty.

Are you kidding me? Her hair looks horrible. Yah, it’s for a role, but out of the role she can’t really pull it off.

I think she is just trying to pull the Emma Watson look, and it isn’t really working. I understand its for the role, and that is wonderful-but if she is trying to make a fashion statement and just talking about her hair, then come on. Natalia Portman shaved her head in V for Vendetta, but she pulled it off and owned it. Hopefully it was worth it, because at the end of the day, her character has to be believable because of the acting, not their hair style-unfortunately for Vanessa, she ain’t no Natalie Portman.

its probably b/c she lacks twitter followers according the manyrandomfacts.blogspot.com she not on the top 5 most followed celebrities

actually it doesn’t look horrible at all. I was shocked at first but now i just totally love it. I think it takes some time to get used to, but it doesn’t look horrible at all then. I love her new hairdo. And just because Emma Watson cut her hair doesn’t mean everyone who now gets a new short hairdo tries to copy Emma Watson? Wtf?
It’s really individual, and you have to get used to it, but like I said I know totally love it. She’s a new self. Not copying anyone, because she doesn’t look like a copy. She has her own style and her own hairstyle. That noone else has in that way.
    anyway, i love her.
