reported that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will not be shot in 3-D. A rep from Summit Entertainment told Gossip Cop that any rumors pertaining to the use of 3-D cameras or technology for the last two films are false.  However, there is talk that the films could be released in 3-D with a post-production conversion, but the studio has yet to comment on that.

How do we think Breaking Dawn would look in 3-D?  Part of me says “yes,” but the other part just wants to leave sweet, chocolate-covered Edward as he is.  For instance, would he be this dashing in his GQ spread were it to be presented to us in 3-D?  Let me get back to you on that one…

I think it will be better in 2D. there isn’t a special reason for it to be in 3D and the blood wouldnt be as confronting either

Thank God…this whole 3-d movie extravaganza is getting really old. Just because the number one movie of all time did it doesn’t mean that every movie that follows has to do it, too. And let’s be honest, do we really need to see the birth scene in 3-d? Yikes.

    I second Katie’s post
