US Weekly Honors Hot Hollywood

I like the idea of a party being thrown in the honor of celebrities based on their relative hotness. Although, it could be argued that if a party named “Hot Hollywood” is allowing in such “stars” as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Bai Ling and Pauly Shore, then maybe I don’t really want to have the kind of “heat” they’re celebrating. Just kidding! Throw in an open bar and cupcakes, and I’m your Huckleberry. Seriously, though, to make up for the lame, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Amanda Bynes and Mary J. Blige were also at the event, raising the temperature somewhat, although Kanye and Mary both left early. Hey, when you’re that hot, you need your beauty sleep. The Us Weekly-sponsored shindig was held at the new Hollywood club, Opera, and the cast of “Heroes” seemed in good spirits over their titles of official hotties.

“It’s good to be the king,” crowed Greg Grunberg of the Heroes cast’s Hot status. “The hottest person in Hollywood, that’s what it feels like. For us to be here, it’s huge. It means that people watch the show, and that’s great.”

Also at the party was young Jamie-Lynn Spears. Hmm. I wonder if we’ll start seeing more of her. Call me crazy, but she seems to fly just enough under the radar to make me think that she’ll turn out OK. I’d love to see what the younger Spears has up her sleeve…
