‘Twilight’ Breaks Box Office Records

It was definitely a hefty display of girl power at the end of the Twilight opening weekend.

Raking in a hefty $70.6 million the audience was estimated to be 75% female and the largest opening ever for a film directed by a woman.

The teenage vampire flick was originally expected to pull in $60 million at most, but “word of mouth” helped bring in that $10.6 million.

Um, you’re welcome, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the gang.

    She’s also donating 10 Percent to the Mormon Church she belongs to. GAYS should boycott the movie.

    @Zeke:

    Yeah, there is some seriously messed up psychological aspects to this whole craze. I mean it’s obvious that Bella is the personification of who Meyer wishes she was (i.e. look how similar their appearances are) and wishes Edward would whisk her away into fairyland. Same with all the 13-year-old girls. It’s just a non-sensical sexual fantasy.

    Wonder how many other women her husband has in his life…

    “word of mouth” my ass. those kids were everywhere. and those two, in interviews, sound like they are just stupid and don’t know how to talk.
