What’s topping the Amazon bestseller list this week? Apparently, a book that hasn’t even been released yet. Check out Go The F**k to Sleep, a 32-page illustrated book about the difficult task of getting kids to go to sleep. The book, which comes out June 14, is currently ranked above Tina Fey‘s memoir Bossypants and the latest Sookie Stackhouse novel.
Here’s something that will most certainly make you smile. Matt wanted to propose to his girlfriend Ginny. So he came up with the genius idea to record a video of him asking her dad for approval. Then he arranged for Ginny and her brother to go see Fast Five in movie theater filled with her friends and family. And then the video aired during the previews. Long, but totally worth it.
This week, our favorite actor/director/former tweeter/multitasker James Franco graduated New York University. Of course, he’s still pursuing five thousand other degrees at a bunch of other schools, but no matter. Here’s a photo of him in his fancy purple robe!
So just in case you were ever worried about zombies taking over the Earth, the CDC has got you covered. On Monday, they published “Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse.” Our favorite line: “Plan your evacuation route. When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast! Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don’t have a chance!”
When you take Facebook off the internet and into everyday life, it turns out the website is super nosy and really creepy. The Australians did a hilarious job with this video about what happens when real people asking your full name, birthday and sexual orientation, etc.
Generally we see Gwyneth Paltrow as like, the whitest person ever. Turns out she knows all the words to the opening verse of “Straight Outta Compton,” which she demonstrated on the U.K.’s The Graham Norton Show. Best of the week, obviously.
