Tony Romo Makes Bank to Fund His Side Project of Bedding Female Celebrities

If quarterback Tony Romo looks like a happy camper here, it might have something to do with the fact that the Dallas Cowboys have announced a six-year contract extension for the 27-year-old football player. Romo, one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, is reportedly estimated to be worth a whopping $67.5 million and the owner of the Cowboys franchise, Jerry Jones, believes that Romo is capable of earning himself a place among the other memorable Cowboy quarterbacks of the past.

“This is just the beginning of what Tony is about as far as the Cowboys are concerned and what we believe to be our future.”

That’s all very well and good, but quite honestly, if he hadn’t been romantically-linked to starlets like Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood and now Sophia Bush, I would have absolutely no idea who this man is.

I’m feelin’ better today now that my Fantasy QB has issued a statement. I don’t have to bench him in favor of Favre.

Funny Romo felt he needed to say something…my how Britney has fallen that people want to make it clear her cooties haven’t touched them!

Officially, Tony Romo didn’t party with Britney Spears during the bye weekend at a chic seen-and-be-seen nightclub in Los Angeles. He just attended the same party with Hollywood’s No. 1 Girl Gone Wild. “I wasn’t partying with her, that’s for sure. She’s a nice girl, though,” said Romo, who signed a $67.5 million contract extension Tuesday. “I guess when you’re in the same place…” This is part of being Tony Romo now. He’s as much of a part of the sports page with Tiger Woods and LeBron James as he is a part of the gossip page with country star Carrie Underwood, actress Sophia Bush and now a train wreck — Britney. “It’s still kind of weird to think about. I think [Spears'] is much worse than mine,” Romo said of his fame. “The fact that I was at the same place as she was and people I guess run with it. Your friends have a fun time with you, but it comes with the territory, I guess.” — Star-Telegram
