Tony Parker wasn’t surprised when his wife of three years, Eva Longoria, filed for divorce on Wednesday. I should hope not, especially if the rumors about her finding hundreds of texts to another woman are true. No, that should be that shocking at all.
“Eva and Tony have been discussing their situation privately,” a rep for Parker, 29, tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. “He was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles.”
It seems that Longoria was ready to split from her husband after finding the incriminating evidence that pointed to Erin Barry, the wife of a former teammate. But his rep was adamant to point out that Parker was the the one who initiated the divorce.
“He did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California,” Parker’s rep tells Us. “He plans to continue to keep their discussions of this matter private.”
