TomKat Married?

March 16th, 2006 // 16 Comments

I smell a contract.

Yesterday, Rush and Molly reported that according to the National Enquirer, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may already have gotten married. Last July.

One of the church’s chaplains married the couple early last July in a ceremony at sea, according to The National Enquirer.

Cruise and Holmes, who met a few months earlier, are said to have exchanged rings emblazoned with triangular Scientology symbols during a Caribbean cruise aboard the sect’s ship the Freewinds. (They supposedly wear their rings only at church functions.) Holmes, who once claimed she would remain virginal until her wedding day, wore white, says the tab.

After the ceremony, the couple walked across a tiny bridge — a Scientology symbol for the journey to “total freedom,” sources claim. Scientologists John Travolta and Kirstie Alley are said to have been on the ship, where guests also celebrated Cruise’s 43rd birthday.

Could the reason why they couple has kept this a secret, if the report is true, is that if they had gotten married back then, no one would have believed that the marriage was for real? Or is it because that before Katie Holmes was turned into a Scientologist, her Catholic ways got the better of her. She didn’t want to be an unwed mother?

I had to pull the doctor out of me for this LOL !! Like I have always said I support Tom and Katie. I wont question their reasonings for anything .. like I said they look happy to me. When I look at them I see no alien babys or psycho Tom jumping on a counch. I see tomkat … happiest couple alive !!! :)

  2. Phoenix

God help us. And by that I dont mean L.Ron Hubbard.

  3. Small Fry

Please Tia Please. I am begging you to stop with this nonsense. Are you secretly Tom in disguise? You do say you are a doctor after all. Love ya girl, but if you think they are a “real” and “happy” couple I got a bridge you can buy.

  4. ugh

“Could the reason why they couple has kept this a secret, if the report is true, is that if they had gotten married back then, no one would have believed that the marriage was for real?” No kidding; proof reading makes all the difference…is it just me or is this site going down hill, too lazy to even make sure the posts make sense.

  5. las

No matter when they get married, legally or not, people are not going to take it seriously.

And ye gods, if they got married in July, after knowing each other for about as long as it takes Madonna to fill in the wrinkles, why SHOULD we take it seriously?

“I wont question their reasonings for anything”

Then that is not support, it is mindless adoration.

  6. tia

las it is not mindless adoration. Like I say on the other post I have been Toms fan since Interview with the Vampire. He is a grown man and I wont question his reasoning becuz it is none of my business. Now everything I say on here is just an opinion. I know ima get it thou LOL .. Kelsey save me !!!

  7. Kelsey

Yo dude, you’re on your own. Tom’s a whack job and Katie scares me even more than he does. The only good thing that came from Tom Cruise was the Top Gun ride @ Wonderland.

  8. Tia… you dissapoint me.

  9. charlotte

I KNEW that they turkey-bastered Katie on that ship while she was “tranced” (DRUGGED on that crappy Scientology cruiseship). Tom’s penis (if he has one) never came NEAR Katie. Tom isn’t the only one who is GAY in that ‘relationship’.

Makes sense – they did it on his b-day. I do believe they are married also, but it’s to make both of them look straight.

  10. doofus

tia, you have to understand something…

a LOT of us were “fans” since Interview, and even before that…Risky Business, anyone?

but you seem to be the ONLY one who has not been weirded out by his antics. that IS more than support. and, sorry to say, it DOES border on mindless adoration. not questioning a person’s reasoning “for anything” is what a brainwashed person does. you can support someone, but still wonder why they do something. or question their “questionable” behavior.

seriously, now…if this were George Clooney and Shannen Dougherty, a couple that just does NOT make sense, doesn’t run in the same circle of friends, and are 15 years apart, you wouldn’t be wondering what the hell they were thinking?

because Tom and Katie fit those criteria…

  11. You make good points doofus.

  12. tia

Okay Doofus .. you are correct!! Sometimes I wonder why the hell did Tom jump on Oprahs counch ? Why did he talk crap about poor Brooke Sheilds ? Why is he dating Katie ? However, I do not judge him because 1) I dont know him .. I cant walk up to him and say hey Tom whats the deal !! So since I dont know him I dont judge him. So I guess I lied .. I do question the things he does .. but I dont trash talk him becuz their aint a thing I can do about it .. so I accept. I will not let his public behavior affect how I feel about him as an actor. I think he is a great actor and I want to see MI3. Lawgirl sorry I dissappoint you .. I dont want to hurt anyone cept hohan and parisite.

  13. doofus

    to tia…

to paraphrase Spock, your logic is illogical.

so, you don’t judge tom or “trash-talk” him because you “don’t know him”?

but yet, you have no problem judging or trash-talking other people that you don’t know? like lohan and paris?

seriously…if this were anyone BUT tom, would you feel the same way?

  14. umm

don’t think she could have been turkey basted on the ship…then she would have had the baby by now (9 months after july=march) LOL

Scientology foes blast Cruise in ad

The battle between Tom Cruise and Scientology and its foes is heating up.

Cruise and Scientology have been in the news lately because of an allegedly censored “South Park” parody of the religion — and now Scientology and the “Top Gun” star are being blamed for a woman’s death.

“Thanks, Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology, for your expert advice on mental health,” blasts an ad in LA Weekly. The ad goes on to say that a woman was killed “by the schizophrenic son she was told to treat with vitamins instead of psychiatric care.”

The ad refers readers to a Web site, which provides details on the case of Jeremy Perkins, a 28-year-old schizophrenic who stabbed his mother to death. Perkins was a staunch Scientologist and his mother was a counselor in the church — which opposes psychiatry and psychiatric drugs and “believes modern psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization’s plot to drug and enslave humanity,” notes the site.

A spokesman for the Celebrity Center of the Church didn’t respond to requests for comment by deadline.
