Tom Hanks does not look pleased to have been caught in the midst of leaving this swank-looking building with one of those fancy, albeit somewhat scary revolving doors. His consternation is aptly expressed in these pictures and he’s also recently expressed some frustration with the writers’ strike and how it might potentially affect the Oscars, which are scheduled for February 24th. “I just hope that the big guys who make big decisions up high in their corporate boardrooms and whatnot get down to honest bargaining and everyone can get back to work.”
He also expressed his desire that “the show must go on,” referring to the Academy Awards. I understand that Tom probably rightfully would like all of those out of work because of the strike to be able to get back to work in a timely manner, but come on, of course he wants the Oscars to take place. Doesn’t he win something every year? He’s like their Employee of the Month. His tuxedo collection must be ridiculous.
