Thanks to the publicity tour for his new movie Knight & Day, Tom Cruise has been in the public eye for the past few weeks. And I have to say, I’m not sick of him! Check out these pictures of Tom signing autographs before appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live–the hair, the tan, the smile… he is looking good! Too bad I’m taller than him…
Of course we all remember when Tom was preaching scientology and jumping on couches, but he has become far less annoying lately. He may never be king of the box office again, but thanks to the infamous Les Grossman, Tom Cruise is making a comeback.
The Les & JLo dance proved to be the highlight of the MTV Movie Awards, and prompted teens and twenty-somethings to watch Les Grossman Youtube videos over a million times! Publicist Anthony Mora observes that, “In this era, with reality-TV trainwrecks becoming celebrities, Les Grossman might be just the ticket.”
If Tom Cruise continues to act less crazy–and look so good–he may have a shot of making a come-back without a fat suit (even though Knight & Day has gotten pretty shiteous reviews). Publicist David Eichler says that “Tom is going to have to do something of substance--Jerry Maguire, Born on the Fourth of July–to get people to care again.”
