Tom Cruise AND His Movies Confuse Us

The U.K’s Daily Mail Online posted a list of the most confusing movies of all time, put together by LoveFilm.com DVD rental.  Topping the list is Cameron Crowe‘s Vanilla Sky, starring Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz (who joined Cruise today on the red carpet of the German premiere of Knight & Day).  The film left audiences scratching their heads in confusion and caused many a “WTF” moment.  Other baffling pieces of cinema include:

2. Mulholland Drive (David Lynch‘s freakshow indie flick.  I mean, WTF)
3. Donnie Darko
4. The Matrix Revolutions
5. Memento (could not get through it)
6. Twelve Monkeys
7. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
8. 2001: A Space Odyssey
9. Revolver
10. A Clockwork Orange

Lovefilm.com‘s Helen Cowley explains that dreaming is the biggest cause of confusion for movie-goers.

“Switching from reality to dream sequence pulls the wool over our eyes.”

I’ll say.
