Tom Hardy Feels No Embarrassment Over His MySpace Photos: ‘I’m Actually Not Remotely Ashamed’
They are glorious and we should take at least one day out of the year to appreciate them. And despite the fact that he’s wearing tighty whities in lots of the photos and that his bio was actually pretty embarrassing, Tom has nothing but love for his old MySpace days.
“I’ve got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat,” he told Sky News (via The Independent).
I believe he is referring to this gem of a photograph.
Or actually, no, he’s probably referring to this one.
Both are truly excellent. And again, Tom is all about the old profile. “In my tighty-whitey budgie smugglers. In America, they say ‘you should be ashamed of this,’ but I’m actually not remotely ashamed – that is me in my natural habitat, thank you.” He then added, “I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo.”
Tom, you will always be Adonis to us. I suggest bookmarking that MySpace photo gallery, just to give you a lift whenever you’re feeling down. I love that Tom is totally cool with these photos. He’s embracing them. I remember I linked to them once and got a very angry comment saying I was a terrible person for linking to these MySpace photos and that they’re Tom’s old persona and how dare I bring them up now that he’s more famous.
Well person who wrote that comment, Tom doesn’t feel ashamed of the photos and therefore I feel fine linking to them. Never change, Tom Hardy.
