Tom Hardy This Means War

Seth Grahame-Smith‘s novel, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, is the basis for a Twentieth Century Fox-adapted film aiming at a June 22, 2012 release. Now the Tim Burton-produced and Timur Bekmambetov-directed movie needs a leading vamp, and they’ve apparently set their sites on Inception star Tom Hardy.

Hardy has been offered the role of Henry Sturges, a vampire that befriends a sixteen year-old Abraham Lincoln and trains the soon-to-be 16th U.S. president for combat against the legions of evil, blood-sucking demons – one of which was responsible for the death of Lincoln’s mother.

Mmmm. Sounds slightly more interesting than the film the Tom is currently filming.
