Tom Felton Pursues Rap Career Post-‘Potter’

Used to chanting spells as villain Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, actor Tom Felton is trying his hand spitting rhymes of a different kind.

The 23-year-old recently signed with an independent label and is aiming to break into the U.K’s rap scene.

The Sun reports that Felton revealed “I was thinking of doing some N-Dubz-style stuff. I am looking to get into the grime rap UK scene… I’m going to change my image – backward caps, the lot.”

According to the article, Felton’s inspiration is Dappy from N-Dubz, but the Potter star won’t tell much more about his project. “It’s still under wraps so I can’t really talk about it,” he said.

Although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final film in the series, premiered in London last week (and hits U.S. theaters this Friday), the soon-to-be rapper is not giving up acting. He currently is working on five films, including Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
