10 Reasons Titanic II Is A Bad Idea [PHOTOS]

Billionare Clive Palmer announced at a press conference today (February 25th) that he will fund building a Titanic II, an exact replica of the original iron maiden that sunk to the bottom of the deep blue sea on April 15th, 1912.

According to Mashable, Palmer layed out blueprints for the cruise ship, which will match the original, save for the # of lifeboats (enough for all passengers), and air conditioning on board.  There will be internet available, but Palmer doesn’t want televisions in the state rooms.

The ship will sail the original route, from Southhampton, England to New York City, and first, second or third class accommodations are available.

“I’m not super-superstitious,” Palmer said at the press conference in New York.  “We are staying true to the original Titanic and a lot of those designs and full experience that never saw the light of day, but there will be some updates too.”
