This Should End Quickly

50 Cent has accepted an offer to debate Kanye West about….whose album is better. This offer came from the hosts of BET’s “106 & Park”. Fitty was all up for it. Remind me to DVR this. What a beautiful and fitting tribute to everyone we lost on Sept. 11. A monosyllabic shill for two shitty albums. Weren’t MC Hammer and Michael Jackson going to engage in something like this during the “2 Legit 2 Quit” days? Wait, that was a dance-off. Why don’t these two pinheads have a dance-off?

Superstar rappers Kanye West and 50 Cent will go head-to-head on September 11, the day both artists’ sophomore albums land in stores. While fans of both rappers have relished in the friendly rivalry that seems to be brewing between the pair over the release date, 50 Cent has actually accepted a challenge to debate Kanye West on live TV.

“I accept the challenge,” 50 Cent told millions of viewers on Friday (August 3). “Kanye, he’s not going to want to show up. Just don’t be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying – so I am conscious.”

This isn’t going to last long. Kanye is going to be all Ralph Lauren Silver Surfer Members Only Jacket with venetian blind shades and he’s going to bound up and say something snotty. And Fitty will shoot him. What? Curtis is known for his gunplay! And he doesn’t like the gays! Am I wrong?

    F.L.A.M.E.R.S.

they can debate their outfit choices.

  2. Wait…their sophomore albums? Both of these guys have only put out on CD? And yet it seems like they have been in our lives for entirely too long.

  3. Bill Cosby

Did you see the article on 50 in which he said Nas is weird because he reads books? I swear it.

So you think we’re so stupid that we can’t decide for ourselves what music we like? You think you can tell us what to like? I don’t think so.

‘Just don’t be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying – so I am conscious.”

Er……profound, Fitty and so true. You speak, so theredore you are concious. We, your humble public can obviously learn a lot from you, Oh Concious One.
Shine your light upon us, we stand with bated breath for further gems of wisdom on Sept 11.

    sorry for my bad spelling.

I’m totally going to watch it with my mom. Then I’m going to hope she remembers the “lingo” and uses it. Often. With me. In public.

Oh, I guess I should have written “moms.” That’s why I need to watch this.

  8. T-Bone

When is rap music going to go away for good??????

  9. Uptown Chick

Um…actually it’s both their JUNIOR albums…they’ve both had two previous releases…I guess maybe the person who wrote the blurb (not you, J) didn’t actually go to high school…or college…to learn the correlation between Freshman, Sophmore, Junior and number of years? (Probably also thinks second base is kissing)

In response to Bill Cosby’s comments about Fitty’s impression of Nas because Nas actually reads, Fitty himself has decided that illiteracy is no joke and have published a series of urban fiction. Seriously, check it out: http://www.amazon.com/Blow-G-Unit-Book-Kwan/dp/1416540601/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-2605239-0264056?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1186538420&sr=1-1
I wish I was joking but I’m not.
