There was a lot of action at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards last night (who would have thought Sandra Bullock would get more action than Robert Pattinson ). Most of the chatter the day after, though, comes from these still moments when the stars first present to you their well thought out (sometimes) outfits for the night.
The hands down winner of the night was sexy Scarlett Johansson in a green lace Dolce & Gabanna strapless dress. There’s no way Sandra was turning that down. Speaking of Sandra her short black sequins Okay Shakar with a low cut back and nude Louboutin made her look like a towering leggy goddess. As Betty White said, she can’t wear that dress backwards. Betty also looked lovely in a black sparkling pant suit that matched her friend and costars look.
I imagine people will disagree with me here, but I loved Christina Aguilera‘s Versace Atelier last night. It was funky, over the top and rock n’ roll, all things that MTV award shows should be. She pulled off chains, some sort of trash back material train and a criss-cross front with confidence and her signature red lips. Same goes for Eva Mendes‘s turquoise and silver sequins cheetah print Stella MCartney and Elisabeth Reaser‘s tuxedo jumpsuit. They stuck out for being different, but not totally bizarre.
I’m not sure who Whitney Port is wearing, but I love the patchwork mustard dress and cage heels. Other MTV reality star Lo Bosworth looked stunning in a Dianve Von Furstenberg long gown. Although it seems kind of formal for last night, she looked stunning. Kristen Stewart also glowed in her Dolce & Gabanna metallic mini dress and actually looked comfortable out on the red carpet.
