“The Mystery Of The Broken Couch”

February 19th, 2007 // 2 Comments

Riding the wave of his phenomenal success at the box office of “Night at the Museum,” Ben Stiller has decided to team up with Tom Cruise for the 20th Century Fox film, “Hardy Men,” which is set to start shooting next year. The film is based on the Hardy Boys book series, and the premise is that the teen sleuths had a falling out during the detective days of their youth and haven’t been speaking for years, but are brought back together to (you guessed it) unravel a mystery. The project has been incubating in development for many years now, but it looks like things are coming together, with Stiller set to produce the film along with his Red Hour Films partner Stuart Cornfeld.

Ha. Funny. I totally forgot that Tom Cruise was originally famous for making movies.

I wonder how much Tom Cruise paid Ben Stiller to be in this movie? It’s not the most likely duo and Tom really needs to be around someone who finds favor in the public eye.

If I were Stiller, I would run. He knows Tom will try to recruit him for Scientology between takes.

Why is Tom going so low to star with Stiller?

cruise is a legend, worked with Scorsese, Coppola, Kubrick, Spielberg, Mann, Scott, etc
he is a brillant acotr, but Stiller?
have you seen his last movie?
