At the Venice Film Festival, both “Black Dahlia” co-stars Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson avoided commenting on the nature of their relationship, despite speculation that the two have been linked for over a year. From The Boston Herald:
In Venice, Hartnett admiringly called her “a siren.” But asked to say more, he laughed, “Come on, guys, don’t get me into trouble here.” For Manhattan-born and raised Johansson, who began acting at age 7, this is how it’s always been. “Any invasion of my privacy is absolutely an invasion,” she said.
The two also avoided any contact on the red carpet that could have been interpreted as that of a couple. Well-played, Johansson. But keep in mind, we’re all familiar with the Brangelina game. It’s all fun and games until someone gets pregnant and then someone else starts being a big humanitarian.
