The celebrities who attended the 2011 Golden Globe Awards had a chance to drink a little bubbly once again on the red carpet. However, it was all for a good cause. The stars joined Moet & Chandon for their 2nd Annual Toast for a Cause initiative, where they donate $1,000 dollars to each of the participants charities of choice. The only charity program to happen on the red carpet.
Glee‘s Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale, toasted to their favorite charities with Moet & Chandon upon arriving on tonight’s red carpet. Also participating in the charity initiative was Chris Hemsworth, who toasted the Australian Children’s Foundation while walking the red carpet for his first Golden Globes.

Celebrities participating in this year’s effort included Zachary Levi for Operation Smile, Tom Hanks for Welcome Home Veterans, Rita Wilson for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, Mark Salling for the James Hunter Wildlife Rehabilitation, Blair Underwood for AIDS Health Care Foundation, Kaley Cuoco for the Humane Society, Eric Stonestreet for Wave Side Waves, Kevin Spacey for Save the Children, Scarlett Johansson for USA Harvest, Gabourey Sidibe for the Fresh Air Fund, Chris Noth for the Rainforest Action Network, Olivia Wilde for Oxfam, and LL Cool J for Camp Cool J.
To commemorate Moët & Chandon’s 20th anniversary supporting the Golden Globes, Moet committed $5,000 to the charity chosen by the twentieth celebrity who participated in the initiative. This toast was made by Jake Gyllenhaal who designated the funds to be donated to New Eyes for the Needy.
