The Kardashians Make A Major PR Blunder
Ouch! Looks like the Kardashian sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are gonna have some major publicity clean up to do shortly. And all of it came from trying to be cute. Stop! According to reports the Kardashian’s sent out a press release about their new Sears line, Kardashian Kollection, in which they are referred to as the “Kardashian Klan.”
The release read, “Kourtney, Kim and Khloe personally invite you to join them in celebrating the launch of the Kardashian Kollection. Join the stylish Kardashian klan on September 6th at the private studio of the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz for an exclusive preview of their fabulous new fashion Kollection for Sears.”
See the problem? In an attempt to be cute and make everything start with a “K” the sisters went offensive. The word “clan” spelled with a “C” refers to a tight knit group of people, however, “klan” with a “K” refers to the KKK, or Ku Klux Klan. I guess this explains why all of the guests at their wedding were asked to wear white. Oh!
What do you guys think of the blunder? Pretty major? Should they send out an apology? Harmless mistake? There are so many options. Leave us your thoughts in the comments!
