It happened. A young adult novel big enough to rival Twilight has wrapped production and premiered tonight (March 12th) in Los Angeles. In fact, it premiered at the exact same venue as Breaking Dawn Part 1 but four months ago. Yes, The Hunger Games is finally here.
Adapted from the best-selling series bySuzanne Collins, The Hunger Games explores a post-apocalyptic world where children are forced to fight one another to the death.
Jennifer Lawrence (in Prabal Gurung) radiated sex appeal and the kind of self assurance that Miley Cyrus would kill for (speaking of which, look who Liam Hemsworth brought). Cyrus, by the by, wore a bustier and organza skirt by Emilio Pucci with Christian Louboutin heels.
Josh Hutcherson gathered with his two co-stars for a few photo ops. Did the three of them mean to line up like that?
Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Kelly Osbourne, Amandla Stenberg, Willow Shield, Wes Bentley, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Jack Quaid (Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan’s son) also walked the red carpet at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles.
