The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig and Amandla Stenberg drummed up even more buzz for the highly-anticipated flick at the Broward Mall in Plantation Florida yesterday (March 8th).
Fans lined up outside the doors to the mall as early as 2:30am to get a good spot by the stage. Contests and games were set up throughout the day to give winners wrist bands for a meet-and-greet with the stars.
Lawrence admitted she was very nervous when Lionsgate first proposed a mall tour, worrying that people wouldn’t show up. ”Now, I sit at the table and say, ‘What am I, a Backstreet Boy?’ ” she told the audience.
Teens were rabid, moms were good sports, but dads looked to be in pain. ”Oh, I am very excited to be here,” one dad deadpanned to the Sun Sentinel, finding shelter in a nearby Kay Jewelers.
