Not that the we weren’t enjoying Conan in twitter form, but half the funny is in facial expressions.
While Conan O’Brien‘s people swore he wasn’t even close to signing a contract two weeks ago, they must have meant a contract with Fox. Today those people announced that the comedian would be joining TBS for a late-night talk show debut in November. He’ll air before Lopez Tonight which is getting bumped to midnight, a time slot that Conan was unwilling to take on NBC. George Lopez, however, is honored to follow Connan’s lead and called Conan himself to encourage him to come to TBS. “I can’t think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in,” Lopez said.
No need to make the downgraded network joke, O’Brien,, who was dining happing at the Ivy last April before the NBC fiasco ever began, already made it. “In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly.”
