Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) will undoubtedly get herself into boatloads more trouble when Gossip Girl returns in January. TVGuide.com sat down with executive producer Josh Schwartz to discuss the back half of the season.
Schwartz didn’t hint at much in regards to the Jenny’s moral demise but warned, “Keep your eye on little Jenny Humphrey.”
Other matters of concern: Chuck (Ed Westwick) and that mysterious woman at his father’s grave. Is she his mother? Is she his father’s mistress who might actually be his biological mother? Is she his nanny who might be his mother? Schwartz confirms that Chuck will go through some emotional changes because of this significant presence in his paisley-patterned life. Nothing a little scotch in a stemless wine glass can’t fix.
Serena (Blake Lively) will suffer through her daddy issues as the rest of us try to figure out why the heck Mr. Van Der Woodsen won’t show his face. And just like Jenny Humphrey, Serena Van Der Boobies will see boatloads of trouble in her identity quest.
Then there’s Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szhor). Vanessa loved him once, and now Dan loves her. It’s a story for the ages.
Blair (Leighton Meester) and Nate (Chace Crawford) will remain beautiful.
