Taylor Swift sure has a lot to be thankful for today!
Tuesday night, the singer wrapped up the North American leg of her Speak Now World Tour in NYC’s Madison Square Garden. All 80 concerts were sold-out– and no wonder! The show itself was pretty entertaining, with flying dancers and sparks flying (literally), but Swift made sure to end this final hurrah with a bang. First, she brought out friend Selena Gomez to sing Gomez’s hit, “Who Says,” to a screaming crowd. But Gomez wasn’t her only special guest; James Taylor (and Ms. Swift’s namesake!) strolled onstage to sing “Fire and Rain” and help close the American leg of this tour.
Combined with her success at the American Music Awards, Taylor Swift isn’t just having an amazing year, she’s having a pretty amazing week. And you’d think that walking towards a Ralph Lauren in NYC with the number “13″ on her hand would just jinx her, but it’s actually her lucky number. Well, whether it is just luck or is just pure talent (or some combination of both), whatever she’s doing definitely seems to be working, so keep it up, Taylor!
