Taylor Swift, in an ill-fitting Elie Saab dress and gold Christian Louboutin heels, accepted the Jim Reeves International Award at the 5th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennesse last night (September 19th). The award recognizes “outstanding contribution to acceptance of country music throughout the world,” according to the InStyle UK. Past recipients include Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton.
The Daily Mail reports that the gracious singer posed for pictures with fans prior to the ceremony, even thanking them while onstage to accept her away. “There are so many amazing fans who came out to the shows and gave the Academy of Country Music the idea to give me this award and it’s the fans who filled those arenas and came out to the shows and screamed very, very loudly, ‘We love you Taylor.’ I love you too,’” Swift said.
