While Kate soaks up Canadian love with a side of adoration, Pippa Middleton‘s not doing too badly for herself back in England. The younger sister of HRH found herself on the cover of August’s Tatler Magazine, a place she’s quite familiar with-Pippa was named the mag’s 2008′s “Society Singleton,” proving that she was hot-to-trot even before donning that Alexander McQueen gown.
The cover is uniquely designed with the headline “Pippa…The Bottom Line.” A black-and-white photograph of Pipps at her sister’s April 29th wedding is surrounded by flowers in various pops of color. The issue should almost come with a track playing choir music, for that is the only thing that comes to mind each time I look at the image.
In the featured article, journalist Annabel Rivkin points out the obvious (Pippa’s rockin’ body and flawless tan) and goes on to say, “Pippa seems almost to have become the whole point of the most recent royal wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are jolly and popular; the consensus seems to be that William has chosen wisely and that Kate is a solid, grounded middle-class soul who will inject some focus into a royal family battered by its own human frailty. But while Kate and William bounce off to Wales, where he can be a helicopter rescue pilot and she can be a housewife, Pippa…has gone global.”
Probably over her media exposure, Pippa didn’t look like she wanted to smile for the cameras as she ran errands by her office yesterday in the Kensington neighborhood of London.
