Cutie Patrick J. Adams is having such a great year and his success is being recognized by nabbing a SAG nomination for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series. The up and coming actor is very grateful for the nominations saying that he is ‘excited and overwhelmed’ by being part of a list of great actors and shows like Modern Family that have been nominated for the prestigious award.
Suits recently finished its first season in which Adams plays Mike Ross, a talented college-dropout who makes a living taking the LSAT for other people until he gets a job with one of the best lawyers in New York City, Harvey Specter played by Gabriel Macht. The pair are assigned difficult cases and are successful while trying to keep Ross’ secret from getting out to the rest of the firm. Sources on the set have said that Macht and Adams onscreen chemistry is spot on and Patrick revealed that they are quite close even off set. The two were spotted this past October shooting scenes for their hit show and by the looks of it, they do look like they get on well.
Adams’ next project is a role on the HBO series Luck with Dustin Hoffman, which premiered on December 11. The second season of Suits will premiere in summer 2012. Congratulations, Pat! Crossing fingers that you walk away with an award. You totes deserve it!
