Welsh hottie Steve Jones will join Nicole Scherzinger to host this fall’s The X Factor. Simon Cowell made the last-minute decision after seeing Jones’ chemistry with judge Cheryl Cole during rehearsals, according to The Sun. “I couldn’t be happier. I am thrilled to be able to share the stage with Nicole, whom I adore,” said the TV presenter.
Cowell hired Jones on one condition: The notorious ladies man has promised to not try and bed any of the femlea on the show. A source told The Sun,
“Simon knows he’s on to a winner with Steve. But he laid down the law. There are to be no kiss and tells or shock stories about an X Factor host and other stars”
“Steve agreed in a heartbeat. He still can’t believe he’s got the job.”

Jones has been linked to a bevy of Hollywood starlets, including Hayden Panettiere, Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson. Cowell made it very clear that there are to be no “kiss and tell” issues involving Jones if he wanted the gig, which was a huge feat for the host of British game show As Seen On TV. According to Us Magazine, The studmuffin has already made a name for himself in England, now it’s time to debut that handsome mug in America.
Even CNN host Piers Morgan was thrilled about the news, tweeting, “Congrats to Steve Jones on landing the US X Factor co-hosting gig. Great guy, really pleased for him.”
