Britney’s Not Yet Ready To Fly Solo
For the time being, it looks as if Britney Spears is going to remain under the control of her father’s conservatorship for at least a little while longer. Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled after a 90-minute court session that at this time, Britney Spears was not yet in a mental state to be able to be in control of her affairs.
Goetz told press after the hearing, “It’s my understanding that her condition is somewhat tenuous. Her medical condition remains the same.” Further testing by doctors will determine whether or not Britney is mentally stable enough to have the conservatorship end. A court update is scheduled to take place on June 17, with a follow-up hearing taking place July 31. At that time, Goetz should be making a final decision about the conservatorship currently in place over Britney.
Well, I for one, am all for it. She hasn’t been more under control in the past 5 years. Quite frankly, I kind of feel like he should be in control of her life for at least another ten years.
