‘Shutter Island’ Starring Michelle Williams Pushes Back Release

Fans of director Martin Scorsese will have to wait an additional four months from its originally scheduled release date to see his latest film, Shutter Island.

Citing the current economic state as the reason for the delay, Paramount Pictures will premiere the film in February instead of October.

The horror/thriller film stars Michelle Williams, Mark Ruffalo, Emily Mortimer and Ben Kingsley. Meanwhile, Michelle looks unconcerned, smiling as she enjoys lunch with her friends at Cafe Gitane in Manhattan. She’s optimistic the economy will bounce back.
