Well, to say that I’m surprised would be a lie. You could see it building all season during the Rachel Zoe Project that Brad Goreski was itching to maybe go out on his own.
News broke this morning from People magazine that Brad and Rachel Zoe decided to go their separate ways.
“I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know,” Goreski tells the magazine. “But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.”
He said that when he told her, they both couldn’t stop hugging and crying and Rachel said, “We have a relationship that’s not normal. I jump into bed with him and wake him up and we have these pow wows and he’s like, ‘Wow, I haven’t brushed my teeth,’” Zoe says. “I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.”
I’m a little bit sad. But it’s exciting for Brad so we wish them both the best of luck and it’s good to know they are BFFs.
