Shia LaBeouf Likes Working With Great Actors

I hate it when people state the obvious.  When will someone claim that working with talentless nobodies is the best ever?

In a recent interview, Shia LaBeouf waxed simplistic when talking about working with his lovah, Carey Mulligan, in Wall Street 2.

“It makes it easier, full stop, when you like the person you’re working with,” Shia told “When you’ve got to pretend on screen that you’re dating them, and off-screen you actually are, that’s obviously going to make your job that much easier. But working with someone like Carey, or Michael Douglas, or Josh Brolin, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, that’s what makes your job easy. These are all people that are so good at what they do, they make anyone acting opposite them look good. And raise their game.”

I’m guessing he’s not talking about Frankie Muniz.

Anyway, here’s The Beef in DC yesterday filming Transformers 3 some more.  He looks like a local politician (something with the word ‘comptroller’ in it) thinking about canceling next week’s erotic massage appointment to attend his kid’s soccer game.  He’s irradiating disappointment.  Maybe I’m alone on this one.
