Shia LaBeouf insists he’s a good guy. You know what? We believe him. The Transformers 3 actor (and Even Stevens alum) stopped by Ellen yesterday to chat up the amiable talk show host and explain a few things.
When Ellen asked about LeBeouf’s recent bar fight, he was happy to talk about what happened. Back in February, Lebeouf was with friends at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks, CA when he stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. Lebeouf then told Ellen that a fellow patron heckled him, spewing all sorts of hate including “f**ing f****t.” This didn’t sit well with our guy, who exchangd words with said heckler.
Things got heated, and Lebeouf then found himself in a headlock, courtesy of a security who then handed him over to the police. Luckily, Lebeouf wasn’t arrested. He told Ellen, ““I didn’t know them. It was just an awkward situation. I’m not trying to challenge anybody either, I was just there with my friends … People get drunk, people get crazy.”

On a lighter note, LaBeouf told Ellen that he made his mom a very personal (and kind of awkward) card for Mother’s Day:
“I sketched this point of view of like two thighs in the air, and a doctor in front of the thighs as if she was giving birth, then in the passage where you have the doctor analyzing the baby, his thoughts, I put, ‘So it looks like he’ll be a healthy child, he’ll probably get arrested five times before he’s 25, He’ll probably crap on himself for 12 years of his life and hide the boxes all over the house. He’ll probably steal money from you, He’ll probably scream at you, he’ll probably lie to you, run away from home, get kicked out of every school he ever went to. But he’ll love you more than anyone you’ll ever meet in all your life.’ And she started crying.”
