There are few things as awesome as when actors get super candid in interviews.
That’s exactly what happened last night on The Late Show With David Letterman as Shia LaBeouf took to our screens to discuss not only his latest movie role in The Company You keep, but his recent theatre beef with Alec Baldwin. You can see a clip of the interview after the jump!
Shia didn’t let his broken ankle get him down as he signed autographs for fans and posed for photos before making his way inside. I blame all that kick-boxing he’s been doing. Boy! Slow down! You’ve got tons of red carpets to walk for your new movie, not just this one in NYC. So what did he have to say about all the recent drama he’s been involved in?
Well, if we’re to believe him, Alec Baldwin is behind Shia being fired from the Broadway cast of Orphans. According to Shia, he and Alec had difficulties as “men” not just as “artists.” Dave tried to diffuse the tension by suggesting that Shia and Alec have a reunion. Somehow, I don’think Shia is down for something like that just yet.
But Shia was incredibly humble as he talked about the show and consistently repeated how amazing it was. He even addressed sitting in the front row saying it was the only seat he could get.
