Is this movie going to be a hit or a miss?
Every time I click on the arrow to play it all disappears.
Everyone is in their forties now (except for Kim Cattrall, in her fifties), none of the actors have done anything to stay in the public eye since the show ended, and it wasn’t really that big of a hit to begin with. The hype is way too excessive.
A hit in attendance and DVD sales. But lots of bitching (cultural significance analyses in New York Magazone, “Women in their 40s: Should They Exist?” articles, misplaced nitpicking on blogs, etc.)
I just think it was such a fun and gorgeous show (the dresses! the parties! the unreliable men!) and did such great things for the whole concept of: women with careers and “active social lives” won’t be stoned in the public-square — in fact they’ll have quite a happy, interesting existence thing, that I think we should just shut up and enjoy… or not go and shut up.
If you can view this film with original cast as a caricature of the original series abet almost in ‘golden girls’ mode simile.. you’ll do fine. This Trek fan’s movie franchise worked for Captian Kirk and Spock many times.
A big HOT MESS!
They’ve lost the momentum…and the doll’s are no longer babes! Sorry….
“Klip” no longer available… Come on , Lisa & P.J what a waste of time…
