Poor Selena Gomez just cannot catch a break!

Everyone knows about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and his legal troubles.  We now also know that he’s not exactly the best at keeping his mouth shut on personal issues.

With all of the speculation and rumors, you can easily see how easy it is for a young starlet to get run down and contemplate just disappearing from the radar for a while.

Can you imagine every move of yours being scrutinized just because of someone you dated?

Back in January, she was admitted to Arizona’s Dawn at the Meadows.

A rep for Gomez shared with E! News that “Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse.”

Constantly working for six years can wear someone down. It makes sense that she needed a break.

After canceling the Australian leg of her tour, everyone was curious about why she took the break. Her Lupus apparently flared up. With that added to any other stress no one knew about, it’s easy to understand why she took a little break.

Her cancellation statement included, “it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.”

From what I’ve gathered, I would say rehab was the best way for her to unwind so that the Lupus would calm down again. The poor girl!

Following the rehab stint, she went to Sundance Film Festival, looking relaxed. She also discussed how much she liked the vibe of the festival.

Let’s hope from now on she won’t have any troubles and will be able to catch a break!
