While every article is calling her a supermodel, that’s probably the overstatement of the year. May Anderson is by far a household name, however, her air rage incident will now at least put her on most people’s radar. The model allegedly pulled a Naomi Campbell size tantrum on a flight from Amsterdam. She was arrrested upon her arrival in Miami and charged with with three misdemeanors – battery, resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication.
Supermodel May Andersen was released from a Miami jail yesterday after spending two nights in lockup for allegedly going bonkers aboard a flight from Amsterdam.
Andersen, 24, a citizen of Denmark who lives in the West Village, was arrested by cops in Miami on Thursday night after her plane from Amsterdam landed. Police said she threw a transatlantic tantrum, berating crew members and even assaulting one.
But yesterday, after she was released on $3,000 bond, her lawyer released a statement saying Andersen was innocent.
“May was released this evening,” said attorney Vernon Brown. “The allegations are false, and we will be able to prove it.”
She looks so charming in her mug shot, doesn’t she?
