Last night, the celebrities came out, so to speak, to attend the amfAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Following the cocktail hour, where Grey Goose served cocktails including the Pear Vodka Sour and the Feisty Blood Orange, guests sat down to an intimate outdoor dinner. The evening was hosted by BRAVO’s Andy Cohen and included a special tribute to Elizabeth Taylor presented by Sandra Bullock.
Other guests including Selma Blair, Colin Farrell, Sean Penn, Josh Duhamel, Rose McGowan, Garcelle Beauvais and Anthony Mackie were treated to performances by Sinead O’Connor who sang “Nothing Compares to You” in honor of Elizabeth Taylor, and Deborah Harry who sang “One Way or Another” and “Heart of Glass.”
During Thursday’s amFAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., Andy Warhol‘s iconic “Peaches” print was auctioned off for $14,000. The lucky bidders happened to be Sandra Bullock’s agents, who bought the artwork as a gift for the actress’ 1-year-old son, Louis.
More from the event…
“I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol,” Bullock joked. Sandra! What would little Louis think of that language?
Most of the fashion was spot on, but, um, what the hell was Greg Louganis wearing?
