Sam Smith Hits LA For The MTV VMAs, Is Not A Fan Of Grindr
According to Billboard, Smith will be performing at the VMA’s and is up for the Best Male Music Video award (against Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’) as well as the Best New Artist to Watch award. But there is something that Sam has a big problem with and he is not afraid to say it.
According to the Wire, Sam says that hook-up apps like Grindr are ruining dating culture, something he thinks is important for the advancement of a normal life for gay people. He is comfortable with his life and doesn’t see a need to hide his sexuality or be ashamed of it.
“I’ve been treated as normal as anyone in my life; I’ve had no issues. I do know that some people have issues in life, but I haven’t, and it’s as normal as my right arm,” Smith said, “I want to make it a normality because this is a non-issue.”
Sam seems like he is a great guy with an awesome outlook. Hopefully, his push for allowing people authentic normalcy will catch on. I’m loving his laid back look here. His dark sunglasses paired with a black sweatshirt are a little gloomy for sunny California, but he has got that whole mysterious artist thing going for him. What a babe!
